3rd International Workshop on Inclusive Finance
Microfinance Focus, 3 July 2014: XLRI Jamshedpur, one of the oldest Business Schools in India will conduct the 3rd International Workshop on Inclusive Finance on October 31-November 2, 2014. The workshop will consist of a series of plenary sessions by distinguished speakers, thematic panel discussions, presentations of research papers, case studies, and facilitation of innovators in the domain of financial inclusion.
This year’s workshop will address issues such as credit delivery through microfinance institutions and small banks, small holder agricultural finance, innovations in technology and mobile banking, urban migrants and remittances, financial capability and impact, to name a few. As a part of the workshop, a national level competition, titled “Innovations4Impact” will be held on November 1. Social innovators, microfinance institutions, and micro-entrepreneurs that have made a difference by linking finance to livelihoods will present their work.
