Asia Microfinance Forum
|Microfinance Focus, 12 June 2014: The Banking with the Poor Network (BWTP) and The Foundation for Development Cooperation (FDC) will host the Asia Microfinance Forum on August 4-8, 2014 in Shanghai. The theme of this year’s event is, “Financial Inclusion in Asia: Creating Financial Ecosystems for the Poor.” According to the event’s website, the AMF will provide a platform for stakeholders to find solutions to challenges identified by the BWTP Network. A central focus of this year’s event will be the region’s shift from microfinance to financial inclusion. The AMF is one of the leading microfinance events in the region, and typically attracts a wide variety of organizations and individuals interested in providing sustainable financial services in Asia.
