Opportunity Microcredit Romania completes 10 years of its start up

Microfinance Focus April 19, 2011: Opportunity Microcredit Romania (OMRO), part of Opportunity International Network, an international microfinance institution recently completed ten years of its start up. Microfinance institution, Opportunity Microcredit Romania, was created in the year 2000.
OMRO’s goal has been to support business start-ups and the development of small and medium enterprises by facilitating their access to credit. Its portfolio consists of clients, civil and legal persons whose activity is centered on production, trade, services or agriculture.
OMRO provides loans for projects in manufacturing, services, commerce or agriculture. Loans are available to registrants (individual entrepreneurs, professionals), and limited to family businesses.
